Strainers

These type of strainers are fabricated using forged raw material which reduce the risk of leakage as may be in tha case of cast type strainrs. The risk of leakege can be further reduced by radiographing the welded joints. These strainers are generally used where the filtration area required is comparatively less than other strainers.

These strainers offer complete protection to pumps, meters, traps, valves & similar expensive mechanical equipments. Installation of a strainer before any mechanical equipment will insure trouble free service and avoid costly shutdowns, repairs or replacements so often caused by the introduction of foreign matter in the pipelines.

These strainers are installed between companion flanges at "startup" time and later removed. Usually constructed in stainless steel, they are available with a variety of perforations or mesh linings.

SBKT Filters Covers Wide range of Filteration; FROM 0.5 microns and above. SBKT are also Supplied with Magnetic Cartridge to retain any Size of iron particle. SBKT Filters give low pressure drop and have large dirt holding capacity so no frequent cleaning is required. Filter element can be easily cleaned or replaced. SBKT filters faciliate cleaning of the filter elements without interruption of fluid flow. Suitable for most of liquid.

We are manufactures and suppliers of Duplex Basket strainers, this are Designed and constructed to ASME Sec .VIII DIV I which are used wherever continuous operation is required and flow is not interrupted for cleaning of filter element. Duplex Basket Filter is used for large volume and low pressure drop where downtime for cleaning is to be avoided. It is available with single and multi elements in different material of construction i.e carbon steel, stainless steel-SS304, SS316,SS316L or any other special material. It is tailor made as per client’s requirement.

Duplex Basket Filter consists of 2 filter chambers, which are further connected to each other by means of 3 Way Ball Valve, Butterfly Valve, C Port Cam Type Valve and Header Type. All Duplex Basket Filters are also available with manual changeover and auto changeover of valve with the option of automatic or manual backwash if required. The service to be filtered enters through the Intel connection of 1st chambers and passes through the filter element. Particles larger than the selected microns are retained on the filter element surface and are gradually routed out through drain connection. As the filter element becomes progressively chocked by retained particles the differential pressure across the filter rises.

It can be manufactured by fabricating from pipes or plates or can be of cast material as per client’s requirement available with steam jacketing for fluid like (L.D.O/H.F.O. etc). We offer a wide range of Duplex Types Strainer filtration from 5 micron and above in different material of construction. Element is cleaned by keeping standby one chamber by means as changeover mechanism arrangement wherein by rotating the top handle manually which is connected to the scraper on the surface of the filter element rotates and removes the dust particles retained on the filter elements. This cleaning process is done four to five times by rotating the scraper, the element gets cleaned and retained particles can be removed through the drain valve which is provided at the bottom.
